Crew Percussion Captivates and WowS Audiences in KUwait, Teaming Up with the LOYAC academy performing arts cultural exchange Program.

Crew Percussion had the great opportunity to work with the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador to collaborate on the efforts to help reduce violence and gang activity amongst kids and teens. Director Chris Rubio and his team created percussion clubs in 15 different school sites across San Salvador. These clubs are designed to teach percussion creativity and to give students a positive extra curricular activity they can be a part of. Crew had the opportunity to meet the Ambassador of El Salvador who applauded Crew’s efforts and got to perform at various locations throughout the city encouraging kids teens and adults that they have the power to enrich their lives and their communities through percussion and music.
